Sangeet Natak Academy, New Delhi, has instituted 'Ustad Bismilla Khan Yuva Puraskar' for outstanding young artistes below age 35.
The announcement of the award for the year 2009 has been made by the Academy and Mysore A. Chandan Kumar, flautist, is among the 32 awardees (8 for Music, 8 for Dance, 8 for Theatre and 8 for othere traditional/Folk/Tribal dance - music- theatre/puppetry).
